The busy Autumn period is upon us and everyone needs to free up time and resources to work most efficiently. RIVIAM’s existing and new digital services can help you do this. Get in touch to discuss any of the topics covered.

Secure Video Service

A GP federation will soon be using our Secure Video Service to deliver a modern, accessible and time-saving GP consultation service. RIVIAM is providing the technology for hosting and managing secure video consultations, interfacing directly with TPP’s SystmOne™ to access clinic diaries, read patient demographics and update the patient record.

Unlike other video consultation technologies, our focus is solely on being the digital enabler whilst our customers provide the clinical capabilities.

Read this great post in which project manager, Kate, explains the video service's value to health and care providers.

Business Benefits

The business case for RIVIAM's eConsent service

We've been exploring the business case and benefits of our Digital Immunisations Consent Service with our customers and wanted to share this with you.

Over the last few years, we have processed hundreds of thousands of eConsents creating efficiency, saving money and time so clinical teams can focus on providing the best patient care.

New for Digital Immunisations Consent Service

  • We can now digitally update the outcome of vaccinations from a clinic spreadsheet uploaded to RIVIAM directly into the child’s clinical record on TPP's SystmOne™. This addition to our Digital Immunisations Consent Service eliminates the time-intensive manual process of updating each record one by one. It works like this:
  • Following triage of online parent consent forms in Workflow, each nurse is provided with an online spreadsheet containing a list of children for a clinic.
  • After the clinic, the nurse updates the spreadsheet on their device with the outcomes.
  • When the spreadsheet is returned and uploaded to RIVIAM, the vaccination outcome is digitally recorded in RIVIAM and on the clinical system, saving time.
  • This process will soon be replaced with RIVIAM’s mobile app enabling a real-time update of the clinic’s outcome in the patient record.

New for your care co-ordination

  • We are building Secure Portals that allow carers and referrers to provide information about the people they are looking after and engage with service providers.
  • With RIVIAM’s Contact Management Service and telephony integration, users will be able to make and receive calls, look up known patients and referrers in RIVIAM and your clinical system and see relevant information and actions. All the activity is recorded in Workflow, improving reporting.
  • A notifications feature in Workflow will provide alerts to users about events. For example, a user can ask for an alert if anything changes for a patient or for new tasks.
  • Task management is another capability we’re delivering in Workflow which we can see adds great value to teams managing patient flow.
