Christmas wishes from everyone at RIVIAM

Warm wishes, health, joy and happiness from the RIVIAM team

As we head into the festive season, we wanted to thank our customers and partners for joining us on our mission to deliver a progressively more co-ordinated, collaborative, responsive, paper-free, integrated health and social care.

This year, together we've delivered an impact that increases efficiencies for teams and improves people's lives.

We look forward to continuing our work with you in 2024.

Happy Immunisations Nurse

New for immunisations in 2024

As England's premier eConsent immunisation provider, RIVIAM is used by customers across England to improve uptake of children's vaccinations, reduce costs and enable teams to work efficiently. Enhancements next year include:

  1. Ability to extend our multi language eConsent forms across all immunisation programmes. This year, the introduction of 11 different languages for Flu eConsents has helped customers improve accessibility.
  2. Enhancing the mobile immunisations app to enable eConsents to be captured at clinics and a new form to support Gillick competency.
  3. Adding further shortcuts for nurses triaging on RIVIAM, saving time that they can then spend on patient care.
Launch of CWH at RUH

Coming up for community and local authority customers in 2024

Community NHS Trusts, Local Authorities and Third Sector organisations continue to use RIVIAM 24/7 for referral management and care co-ordination services, supporting children's and adult's care. Next year, we'll be:

  1. Enhancing the Discharge Service with capacity management. Launched this spring at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath, the service is already proving to fast-track hospital discharge of medically fit patients. Referrals are received and managed from RUH by 20 organisations at the Community Wellbeing Hub in Bath and North East Somerset using our Multi-agency Referral Hub service.
  2. Launching a Patient Portal that allows patients to book appointments and customers to reduce Do Not Attends for a national healthcare organisation.
  3. Adding the ability for professional referrers to see and track the status of their referrals via a dashboard and new Referrer's Portal.
