Digital Immunisations Consent service
RIVIAM’s Immunisations eConsent service enables providers of school-aged children's vaccinations to co-ordinate digital, paper-free immunisation programmes to improve vaccination uptake and increase team productivity.
We have been supporting our customer's immunisation programmes since 2018 and are now England's leading eConsent service provider.
In 2023, children and teams benefitted from our services across the West and South West, Hertfordshire, Midlands, much of London, East Anglia and Yorkshire.
In 2023 alone we processed over 1.6 million eConsents for our customers.
The service offers:
- eConsent websites for the secure collection of consents from parents - these can be provided in different languages;
- Online booking and notifications;
- Efficient online triage and management of immunisations by service centres and the ability to keep track and co-ordinate what’s been done to whom and when;
- Mobile application for school nurses that works with or without internet connection;
- Auto update of clinical systems (TPP SystmOne™) with vaccination outcomes from a clinic spreadsheet once it's uploaded in RIVIAM;
- School Portal for improving communication with schools and helping teams improve vaccination uptake;
- Reporting and Dashboards to provide data insights for increasing the uptake of immunisations, including updates to the Child Health Information Service and Public Health England.
The RIVIAM service empowers providers to take more informed control of patient care improving the delivery of their public health immunisation programme and the experience for everyone involved.
For autumn 2023, RIVIAM introduced eConsents in the following languages: Portuguese, Polish, Bengali, Punjabi, Romanian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Hindi, Albanian, and Arabic.
“The new app brings further efficiencies because it updates the child's clinical record as soon as the vaccination is given” Charlotte Forward, Professional Lead 5-19 Public Health Nursing & School Age Immunisations, HCRG Care Group (formerly Virgin Care)
“Parents have also fed back that they find the online system clear and easy to use. The additional functionality of being able to set up and book community catch-up clinics has reduced the burden on our admin teams and improved access to community clinics for families across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.” Olivia Lee, Programme Manager – School Aged Immunisations, Sirona care and health CIC
