Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue improving lives with services that empower your teams to transform care, prevent ill health and drive the ‘left shift’ to community services.
This Christmas, we’re supporting Bath-based charity Mentoring Plus which helps young people feel safe, heard and hopeful for their future.
2024 numbers tell the story
Immunisations highlights
RIVIAM supports customers across England and most of London in boosting school-age vaccination uptake, cutting costs and enhancing efficiency. Together, we've:
- Enhanced our Mobile Clinic app so nurses can receive late consents and record Gillick Competency consents during clinic sessions.
- Made it easier than ever to run a wider range of reports and see an overview of data in refined dashboards.
- Enabled matching of eConsents against class lists in the School Portal so school users (now 4000+ people) and immunisation teams can work together to improve uptake.
Advancing care co-ordination: community highlights of 2024
NHS Trusts, Local Authorities and third sector organisations rely on RIVIAM around the clock to manage referrals and co-ordinate care efficiently for children and adults. This year:
- A business case by Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES) Community Wellbeing Hub, which uses RIVIAM's Multi-agency Referral Hub service, demonstrated a return on investment of £4.00 for every £1.00 spent.
- We launched our Shared Care Record Viewer enabling organisations working together in RIVIAM (including third sector) to securely access patient data.
- As well as all wards in Royal United Hospital Bath, our Hospital to Home service is in BaNES community hospitals to accelerate discharge of clinically fit patients.
- The new Citizen/Patient Portal allows patients to book appointments, view letters and interact with providers. Integrated with systems like TPP Systm One™, the portal is supported by Waitlist functionality for streamlined operations behind the scenes.
What's new in 2025?
We have big plans next year to:
- Further increase the efficiency savings provided by RIVIAM's Mobile Clinic App used by nurses for school aged immunisations.
- Implement the Benefit Value Calculator, roll out dynamic dashboards and task management tools for streamlining MDT meetings, and the new Citizen/Patient Portal and Referrer’s Portal will enable you to transform your digital front door services.
- Launch our Sadie services: an exciting range of AI Agent technology designed to help people find the services they need whilst enhancing the efficiency of our customers' operations and service delivery.
