Community Wellbeing Hub wins Heath and Wellbeing Award 2021
Bath and North East Somerset Community Wellbeing Hub wins the prestigious Health and Wellbeing Award at the annual Bath Life Awards ceremony.
The Community Wellbeing Hub was set up by Virgin Care, Bath and North East Somerset Council and a leading charity organisation 3SG, to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Paul Targett, RIVIAM's Managing Director, comments: " It's brilliant to see the recognition that everyone who has contributed to the hub deserves. They have done such fantastic work and helped changed people's lives. We're proud to have played a part in enabling the health and care agencies involved in BATHNES to work better together and would love to help other organisations in other areas do the same."
Over the past 18 months, the hub has helped more than 14,000 people in Bath and North East Somerset receive vital multi-agency well-being support from staff and volunteers, such as delivering emergency food supplies, mental health support, and support to those experiencing employment, housing, and income issues.
From the onset, RIVIAM Digital Care has worked closely to support these leading organisations by introducing RIVIAM Wellbeing Service into the digital heart of the Community Wellbeing Hub. Our service ensures that the multidisciplinary teams delivering care have access to a secure digital platform to receive referrals, manage demand, triage cases, and provide a co-ordinated response effectively and efficiently.
