Staying in control of referrals
A service centre can see the status of all referrals for different services organised by workflow pathways and steps. A red, amber and green (RAG) system organises referrals based on when they were received, so it's easy to see where teams should focus their attention. Users can click into a pathway and then step to see a list of referrals to work through.
Single view of a referral
The referral overview page provides a single place to understand the status of a referral, view events or documents and record activity. A timeline feature presents the history of a referral since it's received in the pathway. It's easy to upload or view documents, add notes, and advance referrals through the pathway tailored to customer-defined steps and operational needs.
Secure document management
Different document types can be added by referrers during the form completion process or uploaded by RIVIAM users. These are associated with a referral and easy to view or download. RIVIAM tracks access in our audit journal feature and all documents are stored securely with AES256 encryption.
Generating letters
Using pre-defined templates, users can generate outcome letters to be issued to referrers and patients, and these are stored in the document library for future reference.
Checklist of tasks
Each referral can have a set list of tasks that can be tracked, managed and updated. This makes it easy for teams to see what work needs to happen.
Contact management
The contact management module allows you to record contact information and link it to referrals and patients. Often when a person calls a service centre they call in relation to a referral for themselves or a person they are caring for. This service allows contacts to be recorded and an easy way to manage links between people.

It's easy to search for a patient and see the status of their care being delivered by different services working together on RIVIAM.
