NHS organisations and Local Authorities can consolidate all care services into a single, unified directory. This simplifies the process for referrers, allowing them to search for services, review eligibility criteria, and make referrals.
Single directory for multiple providers
A single Service Directory can include services delivered by multiple providers, for example adult community health services delivered by an NHS provider and their commissioned third sector providers such as Mind and Age UK.
Referrals received in RIVIAM can then be routed to different service centres speeding up triage and time to the first appointment.
Presents services information
Each entry in the directory presents useful information for referrers and enables them to make a referral. This information depends on the content configured by RIVIAM's customers using the Service Directory Manager tool.
Service information can include:
- A longer description of the service
- Key information highlighted on a noticeboard
- Service criteria using a bullet point list
- Additional documents which can be downloaded
- Links to other resources
- Location information including Google Map
- Who the service is provided by.
Control over content published
The Service Directory Manager tool enables our customers to be in control of publishing the Service Directory and they can update content in real-time. Users create services and then follow a template to add information.
Delivers flexibility for different referrers
The Service Directory can be published on a portal or website or launched from within the clinical system such as TPP SystmOne™.
